Curlers are mostly ages 50+ but will permit 1 ‘under 50’ player on a team to accommodate flexible work schedules
League Format
â–ª Register as a Team or Individual (1 player per team ‘under 50’ years of age is allowed)
â–ª 8-end games
â–ª 3 draws per year (sign-up required for each draw)
â–ª Prizes based on sponsorship.

League Rules
â–ª Draw 1 will be 1 division with all teams included
â–ª Draw 2 will be 2 divisions based of draw 1 wins & losses
â–ª Draw 3 will be 2 divisions based of draw 2 wins & losses with top 2 teams & bottom 2 teams switching divisions
â–ª Standings are determined based on (1) wins/losses percentage, (2) head-to-head record, (3) tie-break draw to the button or coin flip.
â–ª If tied after 8 ends, each team performs 1 rock draw to the button with sweeping for the win/loss
â–ª Max 2 Spares per team are allowed to play; all must be club members.
â–ª Five-rock free guard zone rule is in effect.

Individual entry with teams created based on the players’ choice of position, skill level, etc. The goal is to make these teams as balanced (skill level) as possible. Players are encouraged to enjoy the social side of curling, try different positions, refresh your playing skills, and learn the finer points of curling

Stick Curling has become increasingly popular with beginners, seniors, and those with injuries or mobility issues. No matter what your age, flexibility, or skill level, stick curling ensures that anyone can enjoy the sport of curling.

If you want to Stick Curl and don’t feel comfortable sweeping, this is the league for you since sweeping is only allowed after the hog line!

Sunday Night Commercial League
League Info

The Sunday Night Commercial Curling League is a great way to get co-workers or friends together (outside of work) on a weekly basis. When employees get involved in a corporate sports league, they work as a team, they are active and getting some exercise, and they have fun together.

This league does not require membership to the Summerside Curling Club, but fees are payable to the Club with teams paying a fixed rate for the full season.
